ADVAN CHALLENGE – Nürburgring
Nürburgring. Most racing drivers around the world love this extremely challenging race track in Germany.
Many leading car companies and tire manufacturers have used this circuit as their products’ proving ground. Given such characteristics of Nürburgring Nordschleife, the 24-hour race held there has to be the toughest among all around-the-clock endurance races worldwide. Yokohama Tire has a long history of challenging the 24-hour race at Nürburgring, and a BMW M3 won it using Yokohama Tire in 1989 and 1991, and then a Porsche 911 Carrera did the same in 1993. And Warkenhorst Motorsport won the championship title of NLS (Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie) in 2020 with their Yokohama-shoed BMW M6 GT3.
The target is obvious. To receive the checkered flag first after the 86,400 seconds racing for the first time in 20 years. And to win the NLS championship, which is the authentication of the strongest throughout the year.
Thus, in 2023, using the traditional ADVAN-liveried cars, the new challenge for the victories at Nürburgring has begun.
